How to use WebDAV on Windows 7
Windows 7 users are having issues with accessing WebDAV shares natively via the W7 OS. This is a leftover bug from Vista that does not look to have been fixed with the release of W7. A work around has been found and here it is. Credit for this workaround can be found at the bottom of this post.
Users have to install a third-party app (BitKinex by Techiechips.com) in order to use WebDAV shares on W7. It's not the only solution by any means, but it's a good one and it's FREE. That's right, shareware.
This application enables users to drag and drop files, very similar to Windows Explorer.
Use Downloads.com to acquire your install build depending upon your platform: W7 32bit/W7 64bit
Once downloaded, please run the installer. You should see something like the following during your install:

Select Direct Connection.
Once network setup is complete, it would ask you if you want to configure a WebDAV or FTP connection next. I suggest you DON’T click “yes” as it will direct you to another configuration wizard which doesn’t really properly configure the connection.
Manually create your WebDAV connection:
Right-click Http/WebDAV then choosing New then Http/WebDAV.

Type a name for your new connection and press ENTER.
A new window will open where your server settings will be requested. For cPanel users please enter the following:
Server Address: yourdomain.com:2077 (use 2087 if your domain has an SSL certificate installed).
Also enter your username and password for your web disk.

Click OK once your data has been entered.
At this point you will see your recently created profile. Highlight it and click "Browse". You will then connect to your server and be able to browse your data.
Email Golden Gate Support if you run into trouble.
